Quarter Beef Bundle

Quarter Beef Bundle

Start here.

A quarter is the right first order. It fits a normal freezer, it doesn't require a spreadsheet to justify, and it's enough beef to find out whether you ever want to buy from a grocery store again.

You get a representative cross-section of the animal — steaks, roasts, ground, and soup bones in proportion — not the leftovers. This is beef we raised: registered Angus genetics, grown on Mills County grass, grain finished on our own ration, processed under USDA inspection twenty minutes from the ranch.

We're a licensed Certified Angus Beef ® Ranch to Table partner. Every carcass is evaluated by a USDA grader against the brand's ten specifications, and only beef that clears all ten carries the logo — which means the quarter in your freezer meets the same standard as the beef on the best steakhouse menus in Texas.

PRICING

  • $8.25/lb hanging weight. Standard processing is included in that price.
  • Quarters typically hang 200–265 lbs, putting most quarters between $1,650 and $2,195.
  • Final price is calculated when your beef is ready, not when you order.
  • Price per pound may adjust up or down with cattle and input costs.
  • $250 deposit reserves your spot and is applied to your final balance. Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Your balance is invoiced the day your carcass is weighed and hung, roughly two weeks before pickup — you'll see the weight, the grade, and the math before you pay a cent of it.
  • Financing is available through Shop Pay at checkout, on both the deposit and the balance.

WHAT YOU TAKE HOME

  • Roughly 112–148 lbs of packaged beef.
  • About 40% ground beef; the rest steaks, roasts, ribs, shanks, and soup bones.
  • Quarters are cut to a standard sheet so the animal splits fairly between buyers. If you want full control of the cut sheet, order a half.
  • Plan on 4–5 cubic feet of freezer space — a standard upright freezer handles it.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Place your deposit. We put you on the schedule and confirm your delivery window.
  2. We confirm your cut preferences before harvest.
  3. The day your beef is hung, we weigh it and email you your final invoice — the actual hanging weight times $7.60, less your deposit. Your animal's photo and USDA grade come with it. You pay by card or Shop Pay from the link in that email.
  4. Your beef ages 14 days, then gets cut, wrapped, and frozen to your sheet.
  5. You pick up at Local Cuts Meats in Zephyr, TX within 14 days of completion. Balance must be paid before pickup.
